Why is the Wedding package $800 when the equipment overlaps the Full Event package?

It isn't an energy charge. It buys the certificate of insurance naming your venue, early arrival, weather cover, a redundant backup inverter, the late-night load-out, and reserve capacity held back. Those are what make a wedding day go right.

What if my event needs less than the package?

We'll tell you. Before your date we go through what you're actually plugging in and land on an exact equipment list. If that's less than the package, you'll hear it from us before you've paid anything.

Is delivery included?

Yes, within 20 miles of Chevy Chase, DC. From 20 to 80 miles is +$100. Past 80 miles we quote individually.

Do you do multi-day events?

Yes, priced per day at a discount. Tell us the dates and we'll quote it.

Pricing — Three Event Power Packages

Q: What about cooking, heating or refrigeration?

Anything that heats, cools or refrigerates changes the math completely. Tell us if any of that's in play and we'll work it out properly. Sometimes a gas generator is honestly the better call, and we'll say so.

Every package is delivered, set up, tested, and collected. You tell us about the event; we tell you what it needs. The price you see is the starting point — we confirm the final number with you by email or phone before your date.

Most events I do land in one of three setups. That's not a rule, it's just what I've found after a year of weddings, festivals, DJ sets and backyard parties around the DMV.

Pick the one that sounds like your event and we'll start there. Before your date I'll go through what you're actually plugging in — with your DJ, your band's tech contact, your caterer, whoever it needs to be — and we'll land on an exact equipment list. If that means you need less than the package, I'll tell you. If it means more, I'll tell you that too, before you've paid anything.

I deliver it, set it up, test it, show your people where to plug in, and come back for it at the end. If you want me on site through the event, I'll be there.

Backyard & Small Events

$180/ day

Fits: a DJ with a PA, string lights, a projector. DJ sets, backyard parties, birthdays, small ceremonies, market stalls.

Full Event

$280/ day

Fits: multiple DJs, full PA with subwoofers, stage lighting, a vendor row, a bounce house blower. Festivals, block parties, movie nights, school events.

Wedding

$800/ day

Fits: large multi-piece bands, full PA, stage and dance-floor lighting, uplighting, visual effects, ceremony sound, the photo booth — the whole day on one silent setup.

One thing to flag early: anything that heats, cools or refrigerates — electric cooking, warming trays, coffee urns, air conditioning, ice machines, refrigerated trucks — changes the math completely. Tell us if any of that's in play and we'll work it out properly.

When a gas or diesel generator is genuinely the better call.

If you're running electric cooking, air conditioning, or a full caterer's hot line, you need more sustained power than a battery setup delivers. We'll tell you that on the phone rather than sell you something that won't work. We'd rather point you somewhere else than have your event go dark.
